State Route 113 is currently under the LAST 5-mile construction project (completion in 2027) to complete a four-lane divided highway from Rockmart directly to I-75 south of Cartersville GA at the Red Top Mountain Interchange adjacent to the new Lake Point Sporting Development. Upon completion of this project, travel time on SR. 113 from Rockmart to I-75 will be approximately 15 minutes. Traffic counts at the intersection of US 278 & GA 113 will increase dramatically upon the completion of this DOT project.
