Doctors Park was built in 1965 to provide medical offices for local doctors. The buildings were designed in Madison Wisconsin by famed Mid Century builder Marshall Erdman. The unique and innovative structures share many of the visual features that Erdman's iconic prefab homes do. Marshall Erdman was a protege and eventual partner of Frank Lloyd Wright. Together they built many well known buildings including their first project, The Unitarian Meeting House in Shorewood, WI. Today, all 10 buildings within Doctors Park of Appleton remain operational with untouched original exteriors. As of 2024, historical restoration of many interiors began in order to preserve this special commercial property.
