The property is located on the north side of Ventura Avenue between 8th Street and 9th Street, west of Cedar Avenue in the City of Fresno.

Fresno Unified School District recently purchased the Fresno County Probation Department Property and has begun demolition at the 12.65± acres site to build a new alternative education campus for 7-12th grade students.

The Alternative Education Campus will serve up to 1,350± students and is planned to include 44 classrooms, administrative offices, a career technical education program (CTE), a continuation school, independent study, Educational Resource Center (ERC), E-Learn academy, a health building, a cafeteria/student union building, an early learning center, hard court recreation areas, and parking areas. The administrative offices would entail occupation of four buildings currently existing on the project site.
