Introducing Georgetown Executive Hangars, a new private hangar development planned at Georgetown Executive Airport (KGTU) through a collaboration between Fineline Aviation and the City of Georgetown. Fineline Aviation has secured Sites 6 and 7 at the airport for a multi-phase project anticipated to deliver more than 125 hangars over four phases. Phase One is currently planned to break ground in the third quarter of 2026, with delivery expected six to seven months after construction begins. The project is positioned to serve aircraft owners, pilots, aviation businesses, and investors seeking hangar space in one of Central Texas’ fastest-growing general aviation markets.

Phase One will include 38 private hangars offered in three sizes, allowing purchasers to select a unit that aligns with their aircraft, operational requirements, storage needs, and long-term plans. The initial phase is planned to include twenty-seven 50-foot-by-50-foot hangars, three 60-foot-by-60-foot hangars, and eight 75-foot-by-60-foot hangars. This range provides options for a variety of aircraft and ownership profiles while creating a well-organized hangar community within the larger development. Availability will be limited, and buyers are encouraged to confirm availability before selecting a hangar.

The project has been designed around private ownership, long-term utility, and flexibility. Each unit is expected to be structured as an individual leasehold condominium interest, providing owners with the ability to hold, sell, or lease their hangar interest, subject to governing project documents, airport requirements, and applicable agreements. The project will operate under a 40-year ground lease with the City of Georgetown, together with a 10-year extension option. This creates a defined long-term framework for ownership while maintaining the project’s connection to the airport.
