Newly redeveloped as The Rockford - 30 West Broad Street served as Rochester's City Hall for over a century.  The redevelopment has created a unique live, work, play environment containing posh residential spaces, modern small offices or individual offices, a variety of flex spaces, a bar restaurant, and a dedicated high speed fiber optic internet. The building architecture blends Romanesque and Gothic influences and the exterior façade is primarily comprised of Lockport limestone. At the time of construction, the Erie Canal and later the Rochester Subway ran through the center of the City where Broad Street is now located at the former rear entry to the building.
