The 7.5-acre site fronts Carriage Drive State Street (Route 202) and Front Street. The designated zoning of the site is the Business Neighborhood Center District, which allows for a variety of uses including residential, commercial, and industrial. Interested developers may propose to purchase and develop a portion or the entirety of the site.
Carriage Grove is a new neighborhood in Belchertown with mountain views, master-planned for more than half a million square feet of mixed-use commercial, industrial, and residential development. The Carriage Grove master plan designates the site for mixed-use commercial development. MassDevelopment and the Belchertown Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (BEDIC) will work with prospective developers to determine the most suitable use for a given lot.
