The Raymond Renaissance began with the restoration, renovation, and adaptation of the old Jensen Raymond Theatre into exciting commercial and creative workspace units. The addition of a new adjacent building completes the total Raymond Renaissance. The existing historic building facade has undergone a complete renovation and restoration over the past year. All of the non-original materials have been removed. The original terra cotta has been restored and replicated where missing. The bricks have been cleaned and returned to their original color. A new marquee will be replicated to match as closely as possible the photographs of the original marquee from 1921. The restoration is authentic and truly beautiful.The historic interior walls and ceiling of the theatre auditorium will be renovated and restored to their original beauty. The addition of 12 skylights brings light and air to the 5-story atrium. The restored building will have l retail space, 10 lofts, 5 commercial and 4 creative workspace units.
