RETAIL SPACE LEASE OPPORTUNITY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - # 2015-01 1 COLUMBUS CENTER, SPRINGFIELD, MA 01103 The Springfield Parking Authority (SPA) is soliciting proposals from interested parties for the disposition, by lease, for space within the Columbus Center complex at 1 Worthington Street (located on East Columbus Avenue bounded by Bridge and Worthington Streets) in Springfield, Massachusetts. The space for lease consists of approximately two thousand six hundred fifty (2,650) square feet on the first floor and approximately twelve hundred (1,200) square feet in the basement of the Columbus Center facility, totaling approximately three thousand eight hundred fifty (3,850) square feet of floor area. A three year lease is offered with a possible three year option, all Subject to lease negotiation. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, Section 16 and all lease documents must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal regarding Real Property Transactions. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. Responses are due on January 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the SPA Office, 150 Bridge Street, Springfield MA 01103-1417.
