BROOKLYN BRIDGE RENOVATION TEAM SETS UP SHOP IN DUMBO Construction Group Skanska Koch Takes Space in 55 Washington Street

Brooklyn, NY- Two Trees Management Co. announces that Skanska Koch Inc., an international construction and consulting services company, contracted to do renovation work on the historic Brooklyn Bridge, has leased a 4,070 square-foot office space in DUMBO’s sought-after 55 Washington Street to serve as their home base for the duration of the project. The lease was signed for five years. Caroline Pardo, Director of Leasing for Two Trees Management, represented the landlord and Vicus Partners LLC represented the tenant.
“We are thrilled that Skanska has chosen DUMBO to be its home during its renovation of the neighborhood’s most cherished structure, the Brooklyn Bridge,” said Pardo. “Not only will their workers have amazing views of the bridge from their new office, but they will enjoy state-of the-art facilities and modern spaces.”
Skanska is one of the world's leading construction groups with over 96 years of experience. The company has built or rehabilitated some of the nation's most eminent structures such as the World Trade Center, Giants Stadium, Yankee Stadium, George Washington Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Queensborough Bridge, AirTrain-JFK Light Rail System, Jacob Javitts Center and Richmond-San Rafael Bridge in San Francisco.
“Skanska needed a field office in DUMBO. They wanted to deal with a high quality Landlord and they needed the space to be in Move-in condition,” said Bert Rosenblatt, Principal at Vicus Partners, LLC, “Two Trees was the right Landlord and had space that fit the bill perfectly.”
Two Trees Management Co. owns most of the Brooklyn neighborhood of DUMBO (“Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass”) as well as significant properties in the Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill area. The company’s holdings include 13 buildings and the second largest portfolio of commercial space on the Brooklyn waterfront, which spans 3 million square feet.
