Dallas' Statler Hilton gets $43.5M in city incentives for massive redevelopment
It's finalized. The historic Statler Hilton received $43.5 million in tax increment financing funds Wednesday to help the massive $175 million redevelopment take shape.

Houston-based investor buys Mesquite Town Centre
Houston-based QEH Mesquite LLC beat out a bidding war to purchase Mesquite Town Centre Plaza for an undisclosed sum.

The 209,766-square-foot retail property sits on nearly 15 acres at 1330 N. Town East Blvd. in Mesquite. It attracted multiple strong bidders, which illustrates the demand for property in the Town East trade area, said Tom Salanty, an executive director with Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.'s Dallas capital markets group.

Chicago-style hot dog joint, Farkles, re-opens in Honolulu's Chinatown near Grondin Restaurant
Farkles, the seven-month-old hot dog joint in Honolulu's Chinatown, has found a new home at 56 N. Hotel St. after recently leaving its digs at the corner of Hotel and Maunakea Streets when its six-month lease ended.
